About Us
A movement rooted in faith and soil
WELLNESS Gardens exists to help individuals, families, churches, schools, and communities grow food, grow in faith, and grow together — all for the glory of God.
Our Mission
To create transformative garden experiences that grow food, grow faith, improve wellness, strengthen communities, and glorify God through His creation.
Our Vision
To become the nation’s leading faith-based gardening organization — inspiring millions to discover God’s love through the soil.
Our Core Philosophy
“God is the Master Gardener. Growing Food. Growing Faith. Growing Community. Because when God grows a garden, He also grows people.”

Leadership
LaKisha Woods Kabinga
Creator & Executive Director
LaKisha Woods Kabinga is the visionary Creator and Executive Director of WELLNESS Gardens and Her Garden Still Grows. Her journey began with a simple but powerful conviction: that God uses gardens to transform people, communities, and generations.
What started as a personal garden ministry has grown into a multi-faceted movement serving churches, schools, families, and businesses across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and beyond.
As a speaker, educator, and community leader, LaKisha brings warmth, expertise, and deep faith to every engagement — inspiring thousands to pick up a trowel, plant a seed, and watch God work through the soil.
Statement of Faith
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God — the foundation for life, faith, and practice.
God the Creator
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, who reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who lived, died, and rose again so that all who believe may have eternal life.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who guides, empowers, and transforms believers to live according to God’s purpose.
God’s Creation
We believe God’s creation — including the soil, the seeds, and the harvest — reflects His glory and is a gift to be stewarded with gratitude.
Community & Service
We believe we are called to serve one another, love our neighbors, and build communities rooted in faith, generosity, and compassion.
Committed to accountability
Financial Transparency
We publish annual financial reports and maintain open books so donors can see exactly how funds are used.
Impact Reporting
Every garden, every volunteer hour, every community served is tracked and reported publicly.
Annual Reports
Our detailed annual reports share the full story of what God has done through your generosity.
