These Terms govern your use of the Advent Bible Companion. By using the platform, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Advent Bible Companion at buildwithaion.com/bible and any associated services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Description of Service
The Advent Bible Companion (Scripture Studio) is an AI-guided Bible study platform built for Seventh-day Adventist and broader Christian study, offering scripture reading, AI-guided study tools, audio narration, and related services. Features and availability may change without notice.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you represent an organization (church, conference, or ministry), you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.
User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- ✕Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
- ✕Transmit malware, spam, or harmful content
- ✕Attempt unauthorized access to any system or data
- ✕Impersonate any person or entity
- ✕Interfere with the Platform's operation
Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and technology on the Platform are owned by the Advent Bible Companion / AION or its licensors, except for licensed and public-domain scripture translations (see our Licensing page). You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
Payments & Billing
Payments for paid plans (Pastor, Bible Scholar, Church, Church Conference, Church Union, Church Division, and General Conference tiers, and the Partner Program) are processed through Stripe. All fees are in USD and are non-refundable except as described in our Sales and Refunds policy. Pricing is subject to change with notice.
Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." THE AI STUDY COMPANION IS A STUDY AID, NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PASTORAL GUIDANCE, LICENSED COUNSELING, OR EMERGENCY SERVICES. IF YOU ARE IN CRISIS, CONTACT LOCAL EMERGENCY SERVICES OR A CRISIS LINE IMMEDIATELY.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE ADVENT BIBLE COMPANION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Advent Bible Companion, AION, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
